DanDaMan Aug 30 @ 6:45pm. I played the whole game with no vr because I have no vr headset, was thirsty for half-life 3 and not just crappy indie mods, and I gotta say: It was fun. It was definitly my least favorite half-life game, but I really like every game anyway so this was still good.
There's a VR mod that removes the need for Half-Life Alyx and it's wonderful. Its made by SoMNst and deserves all the credit. Check out more here: Right click on game. Properties. Set Launch Options. #3. namethegame Mar 30, 2020 @ 11:13am. Thanks, yeah, I tried that and unfortunately that doesn't change anything. -novid works and lets me skip intro video, but not that command that is supposed to make it fullscreen. #4. In Half-Life: Alyx this is called 'shift'. There's even a setting—Blink—that goes one step further to teleport you to a spot while fading the screen to stop movement feeling too jarring. AsIs it worth buying a VR headset for just Half Life: Alyx? So I'm the biggest Half Life fan going, been playing all the way from the first Half Life, so naturally when they announced HL: Alyx after the radio silence after Episode 2, I was insanely happy, and then I realised it was VR only! I'm not the biggest VR fan, tbh I can only play VR for
Half life alyx: you can easily understand the story have fun and you don’t need strong vr legs to play. It just doesn’t have all the fun mechanics boneworks has. Boneworks: has more replay ability better soundtrack has more fun mechanics. Has a really good story you just need to put the pieces together or watch a story explainers n YouTube.
