The war horse idea is quite good and also efficient if you pay attention to their weapon type, its also good to use the garrisons as some sort of reserved army, like my army is all tier 6 cavalry & horse archers but when i want to take a town or castle i put them in one of my towns and recruit regular troops like footmen ans tier 2-3 archers, die little peasants, die for the glory of kings.
Combat death is on. Old people die from being old. In terms of probability of dying from a specific action? Damage type that caused final blow (blunt less likely to kill than piercing) and your pre-existing health (older means you die more).
I don't think it's ever *really* worth it to raid villages though. #1. D55 Nov 3, 2022 @ 12:59am. Never have never will attack villages, caravans if im desperate and im fast enough to catch them. #2. Multifaced Nov 3, 2022 @ 1:17am. when playing as a good guy, no not worth it as much, but still possible while at war.

The heroes.xml file you are after is in your bannerlord install folder under Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\SandBox\ModuleData. Open the file with notepad (I prefer notepad++). Youll see a bunch of entries that look something like this:
Would add a lot if you could play on as one of your princes trying to reconquer the empire. Or maybe split the clan into two. I haven't directly experienced, but I believe the game counts the clan as owning holdings. So when you die, what you own should go to your heir as the new head of the clan.

In order: Someone from his clan takes over. It seems to be somewhat random within the clan. Another clan takes over. The game doesn't crash. Even if there is an election, you won't see it, since it isn't your faction. There is no civil war. There is no anarchy.

My character died of old age right at the turning point when the Khergits were just too weak to keep up. I continued the rest of the playthrough as the son who was then able to just STEAMROLL the Khergits and take over the rest of Calradia. I always felt a little sorry for my first character because all he knew was disorder, death, and war.
I did the same. His brother takes over and your relation with him and Caldog’s sons are reduced to -100. Not to sure what happens next but the ā€œrepercussionsā€ seems to be pretty minor. Caldog was considered cruel and devious in my game and the rest of the battanians didn’t really chose him as king. joe-moms-in-my-ass.
