The Ford Mustang GT rates 19 mpg with the 10-speed automatic transmission and 18 mpg with the 6-speed manual. The Mach 1 rates 18 mpg with the automatic transmission and 17 mpg with the manual. To no one's surprise, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is quite thirsty and rates 14 mpg combined. Now this is interesting. The Shelby Supersnake is a true Shelby. Shelby = ( a limited build of regular mustang’s with enough performance modifications to take on cars way out of their class). Like the original GT350’s and GT500’s. Today’s 2020 GT 500 (as well as the GT350) comes right off the assembly line. Limited production?
