The latter half of Season 8 saw such great characters, complex ones, reduced to one-dimensional caricatures behaving irrationally or out of character. Here they are assassinated beyond recognition, Tyrion (a contender for my consistent favourite 'Game of Thrones' character) especially. And their arcs finishing inconsistently and anti-climactically.
