I've got a huge problem with my Dark Souls 2 SOTFS PC version. It is impossible for me to play online. I get disconnected quite often, but it's always different. Sometimes I get disconnected every 10 minutes, yesterday I was was online for hours and I got disconnected when I tried to summon somebody. Summoning doesn't work in 99% of all cases

Since I wield it in the right hand and step forward to thrust (hoo, that sounds dirty!). Well if you wanted to backstab me during my attack, you'd circle around to my right cheek and go for the backstab (getting dirtier!) Also the backstab window is fucking huge, so yeah sometimes your side is you back. I've seen AFK(C?) forest bros get turned 90deg into a backstab the window is so huge. It's one of the reason people say backstabs are a bit broken. Also what he's doing to you sounds like chainstabbing, it's a combination of lag/latency, the massive window, and
With Demon's Souls and the first Dark Souls, backstabs were instant. You get behind an enemy and push the attack button and then you're locked into the backstab animation with the enemy, doing a huge critical attack. With the later Souls games, if you are behind an enemy and go for a backstab, you can whiff as it's not instant.

It’s not an extreme example because the poise in Elden Ring works like Dark Souls, not Dark Souls 3. You cannot have Dark Souls 3 backstabs with the current poise system, it won’t work. I agree that someone Estus chugging, or parry spamming, or using a spell deserves to eat a fat backstab. But I don’t agree with a player sprinting around Discussion. I see now why Dark Souls 1 is considered the greatest. I never thought this game would ever live upto the expectation. Before I started playing the dark souls remastered, I used to think this game was over-hyped and overpraised by the Dark Souls poise backstab veterans. Now I think about it I was so wrong.
