For those who encounter the same problem. - Go to your Ubisoft Connect Launcher – right click – properties – and check “run as administrator”. - Search for your FarCry6.exe and do the same - “run as administrator”. So whenever I click play, a steam window pops up and says "preparing to launch Far Cry" as per usual but then nothing happens. Then the steam window pops up over and over again, as if the game is trying to launch but can't. I have already tried verifying my game files, but to no avail.

Let's just do a quick run-down of what's happening when I have the settings as in the title: (I own FC5 on Steam) - I click "Play" and Ubisoft Connect opens. - Ubisoft Connect "prepares" my game "for launch". - Ubisoft Connect finishes its thing and the Far Cry 5 splash screen shows up.

Far Cry 3 also needs to login once into uplay client when you try to launch it for some reason. did not start on origin. decided to uninstall from origin and reinstall from origin. did not launch. then decided to go to Uplay desktop client, pressed there to play. didnt launch. pressed verify files. complained that couldnt verify files.

Day Walker Jun 24, 2017 @ 10:34am. When looking at your steam library, right click on Far Cry Primal then click properties. When in the properties menu, click on the local files tab, when on that select "Verify file integrity." This worked for me for another game, not sure if it will work for you. #7.

Open the steam overlay while in game, if there is a key it will be there. You don't get any. There is no more any Keys for Ubisoft games on Steam. I launch the game from steam. Ubisoft connect pops up asking for a key. Like I said, you don't get any, there is no more keys been given for Ubisoft games on Steam. Use Google ! In many cases, Steam will display your CD Key when you first launch your game. If your game launches and asks for a CD Key you do not have, please try the following: Right-click on the game in the Library tab and select View Game CD Key. This option is not available for all Steam games and a CD Key is not required for all games.
Far Cry 4 controller issues on PC. Far Cry 4. Just seeing if anybody has a fix for my controller not working on the Far Cry 4 pc version. I have tried Steam big picture mode, and have just used the Ubisoft launcher, to no avail. If anyone has a solution please help!
